Teeny is a little golden hamster living peacefully by himself in a burrow at the base of an old oak tree. His days go by in quiet routine until a few surprising events shake up his safe little world and bring with them a lesson about sharing, friendship and helping others.

 

"Teeny, the Golden Hamster" is the first children's book by Tammy Elinson, a graphic designer and illustrator who is quite fo­­nd of cute, small creatures. Her inspiration was drawn from long observations of the ways of life of those hamsters she had raised both in her childhood and as an adult. In this book, she hopes to foster this affection for these special animals in her youngest readers.
